Policy brief and IMPULS paper on Social2Mobility published

Over a period of more than five years (2019 and 2024), the Social2Mobility research project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMBF), investigated how mobility and social participation can be more closely interlinked in municipal planning practice.

In addition to the implementation and evaluation of specific measures in three municipalities in the Hannover Region, new planning tools were developed to make mobility poverty visible and to assess the impact of planned measures on social participation.

Two key papers have now been published on the basis of qualitative and quantitative surveys and a real-world laboratory. The first is a policy brief that summarizes the core results and contains key findings and practice-oriented recommendations, and the second is an IMPULS report from the Hannover Region.

Building on the work of the Social2Mobility research project, the IMPULS social planning report shows the mobility options, mobility behavior and potential accessibility of pediatric and adolescent medical practices in various areas of the Hannover Region for households with children.
