Conclusion

Correct sampling and image filtering methods for new 3D displays have been investigated and described. Generally 3D data of objects are given for equidistant sampled objects or images. The special representation of object by a multiple of views using lenticular glasses makes necessary a non equidistant sampling and filtering for the depth coordinate z in dependence on the optical features. These algorithms have been developed and they are presented in the paper. A new kind of object resolution appears: a static and a dynamic resolution. The consequent effects are described.
