UWE SCHIMANK is professor emeritus of sociology specialising in sociological theory at the University of Bremen. He is co-project leader of the project 'Subjects in Competition: Disciplinarity in International Comparison' in the DFG research group ‘Multiple Competition in the Higher Education System’.

Episode 2:
UWE CANTNER is a professor of economics at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena and served for several years as chair of the German government’s Expert Commission on Research and Innovation (EFI). THOMAS GREBEL is a professor and head of the Economic Policy Department at the Technical University of Ilmenau.
Both experts are involved in the DFG research group in the project 'International dimensions of multiple competition: German higher education institutions in international comparison'.

Episode 3:
JULIAN HAMANN is an assistant professor of higher education research at Humboldt University in Berlin.
KATHIA SERRANO VELARDE is a professor of political sociology at Heidelberg University.
Focusing on the postdoctoral perspective, the two researchers, together with their teams, are conducting subprojects on socialization processes and international competition within the framework of the DFG Research Group.
