We'll finish the winter term INCHER & ZELL Colloquium with "Using education technology to learn mathematics" (by Prof Dr. Andreas Eichler)

Wednesday, 11 February 2026, 4.30 - 6 p.m. Last but not least, as the closing event of the joint INCHER & ZELL Colloquium series during winter term 2025/2026, we are looking forward to the lecture by Prof. Dr. Andreas Eichler (Didactics of Mathematics, Upper Secondary Education) on "Using education technology to learn mathematics".

Authors Abstract: The talk refers to two current research and development projects that investigate how education technology (including AI) can influence mathematics learning in terms of mathematical reasoning and data literacy, and to what effect. The focus is particularly on the design of education technology and initial pilot projects.

 

Andreas Eichler is professor of Didactics of Mathematics, Upper Secondary Education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Kassel and member of the Board of Directors of ZELL.
