On 27 March 2025, the Hessisch/Niedersächsische Allgemeine Zeitung (HNA) took the handover of the report by the Expert Commission (EFI) to the German government at the end of February as an opportunity to publish an article in which the situation in northern Hesse is examined from the perspective of the EFI report. Prof. Dr Guido Bünstorf, who was primarily responsible for the key areas of digitalisation and decarbonisation in the report, explained the particular potential and challenges for the North Hessian economy for the HNA.
