We are pleased to announce that Ester Höhle successfully completed her doctoral examination on 8 December 2025 with a grade of magna cum laude.

The title of her cumulative dissertation is: ‘Wissenschaftliche Karrieren im internationalen Vergleich: die vertragliche Befristung unterhalb der Professur’. The examiners were: Prof. Dr Jenny Preunkert; Prof. Ulrich Teichler; Prof. Bernd Kleimann; Prof. Kerstin Jürgens. Ester has been member of INCHER for a long time. She is currently working as a higher education researcher at IU International University in a joint project (with DZHW and Euro- FH) funded by the BMFTR on state and private universities of applied sciences, and teaches quantitative methods at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf.
