Alana Hindiyeh is a researcher at the International Center for Higher Education Research (INCHER) and the Department of Economic Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (EPIE) at the University of Kassel since May 2023. She is currently a part of the project TRAFO2 (Transformative change through transfer of sustainability-oriented research and university sustainability profiling?). Alana holds a Master’s degree in Economic Behaviour and Governance from the University of Kassel and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Psychology from Franklin University Switzerland. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at INCHER in the project Q2D2 (Quality Assuring Institutions and Quality Developments in Dissertations in Economics and Social Sciences in Germany).

Her research interests include economics of science and technology, policy and impact evaluation, female and minority representation in higher educational institutions, big data, and text mining.
