Vita  (Dr. Nils Grashof)

Dr. Nils Grashof is Deputy Professor of Transformational Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Kassel since October 2025. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Microeconomics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany), was visiting scholar at SCANCOR in Stanford (U.S.) and received his PhD from the University of Bremen (Germany). His thematic and application-oriented focus is on the economics of innovation (especially radical innovation), the effects of clusters and value-adding networks, as well as the digital (especially AI-related) and sustainability transitions.
