Professor Dr. Michael Goller is Head of the Department of Vocational and Business Education at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Kassel. Michael Goller has been a member of the INCHER Executive Board since February 2026.
His main research areas are:
- Learning in practice (company-based part of training, internships, learning at the workplace of employees)
- Digitalization of work and its impact on skills requirements, skills acquisition and the experience of work
- Career choice processes and career choice orientation (in particular career choice motives, subjective theories regarding occupational fields of action, factors influencing career orientation)
- Empirical methods of vocational training research
