On February 18, the entire consortium of partners in the TRIO project met at the University of Giessen to present the results from the first year of the project. Initial results on crop yield, quality and stress reactions as well as root growth, water uptake, microbiology and insect diversity were presented and discussed. At the event, the project partners were also able to meet new doctoral candidates, who were able to gain an overview of the results of the first year and the current status of the project and plan the next season together.
