From August 18 to 28, 2025, Wanda, a doctoral candidate at the Department of Organic Agriculture and Crop Production (University of Kassel), traveled to Aarhus University, at the Foulum site, for a short research stay.
The aim of the trip was to scan samples from the TRIO project using micro-CT and thereby gain insights into the root architecture and distribution of perennial wheat and caraway in pure seed and in mixed culture. In addition, the trip offered the opportunity to exchange ideas with numerous scientists, discuss methods and gain new impressions.
