The West African-German network "Pre-incubation Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture, Research and Entrepreneurship" - PREPARE aims to empower a new generation of regionally and internationally educated young scientists, entrepreneurs, and professionals in agriculture. Future leaders in West Africa will be equipped to address challenges in youth unemployment, food security, and sustainable agricultural practices through innovative university education, entrepreneurial training, and robust North-South-South partnerships. PREPARE builds on the Pro-RUWA initiative, fostering collaboration among universities in Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Germany to integrate practice-oriented research, pre-incubation programs, and public-private synergies for sustainable development.
