Reminder: Switching off the fax server and removing the fax numbers

Dear colleagues,

At the end of this month, as already announced by the CIO of the University of Kassel in mid-October, the university's fax service will be discontinued.

As part of this change, we have removed all fax numbers stored in the HIS portal. Fax numbers have also been automatically removed from websites that use the Typo3 person plugin, so that no manual adjustments are necessary in these cases. Please also note that newly entered fax numbers will neither be saved nor displayed with immediate effect. The option to enter fax numbers will be completely removed in the next few days.

Important note: However, please check your own web pages, e-mail footers, forms or other documents that are maintained outside the HIS portal or the Typo3 personnel plugin to see whether they still contain fax numbers. If this is the case, we ask you to remove them manually to ensure a consistent and up-to-date display.
