Zoom changeover to Zoom X

Dear Zoom users,

 

We would like to inform you that on Thursday, 24.04.2025, the Zoom instance of the University of Kassel will be switched to Zoom X from Telekom. Zoom X will enable us to offer you better quality in your meetings and will also provide you with new Zoom functions in the future to support you in planning and holding your events.

 

Planned maintenance:

To ensure that the changeover on 24.04.2025 runs as smoothly as possible, the technical preparatory work will already be carried out on the weekend from 11.04.2025, 18:00 to 14.04.2025, 08:00. Unfortunately, there may be interruptions during this time.

 

What will change for you from 24.04.2025?

  • All your meetings and settings will be fully transferred.
  • In future, you will be able to manage your meetings and Zoom settings online via the link https://uni-kassel.zoom-x.de.

The existing invitation links for the (transferred) meetings will remain valid. It is not necessary to create them again and distribute them to participants.
