Zoom meetings: New functions at a glance
Dear colleagues,
dear users,
there are now several enhanced functions available for the use of Zoom meetings that improve collaboration and accessibility.
chat messages can now be copied directly from the Zoom meeting by default. Previously, it was possible to save or download the entire chat, but this function was only available to the host. With the new option of direct copying, all participants can now select and use individual pieces of information, links or notes directly in the chat without having to rely on the host to provide them later.
In addition, automatic subtitles can be used if they are required for an event. This function supports in particular the barrier-free implementation of courses and meetings. Information on activating and using subtitles can be found at:

In addition, when planning a Zoom meeting, it is now possible to allow participants to join the meeting before the host joins. This can be particularly useful for larger events or organizational preliminary discussions.
We invite you to use these new functions when planning and holding your meetings and to pass the information on to your colleagues if required.
