Addendum to the doctoral colloquium in Munich

On February 28 and 29, the department traveled to Munich to hold its biannual colloquium with the department's doctoral students. This time, the venue was the BMW Group Research and Innovation Center in Munich. The participants included doctoral students from Kassel as well as doctoral students from Munich. A doctoral student from the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Kassel was also a guest.

Both doctoral theses in the start-up phase and those nearing completion were presented in exciting talks. The topics ranged from physical textile properties to eye-tracking in customer requirement validation. The highlight of the day was a visit to BMW Welt and a tour of the BMW production line. All in all, it was a successful colloquium. We look forward to welcoming more new doctoral graduates to our ranks in the near future.
