ReGAIN stands for Resilient Automotive Foundries through the use of AI-supported assistants for sustainable processes. The aim of the project is to develop data-driven methods for optimizing processes and products in the foundry industry.
The GTK at the University of Kassel is working on optimizing the die casting process with a focus on the use of AI in impeller melt treatment and demand-oriented release agent application.
