New member of the Foundry Technology Industry Support Group at the University of Kassel

InterGuss Gießereiprodukte GmbH and the Foundry Technology department are moving into the future together.

We are delighted that InterGuss Gießereiprodukte GmbH has become a member of our Foundry Technology Industry Promotion Group "Innovative Lightweight Casting". With Mr. Christian Enke (GF InterGuss) and InterGuss, we have gained an expert in the field of mold venting and vacuum technologies for our support group. In our view, good mold ventilation is central to good casting!

In the Foundry Technology Industry Promotion Group, scientists and young talents (students / foundry mechanics etc.) meet companies from the foundry industry. Relevant R&D topics for the foundry industry are discussed together. Joint R&D projects are carried out within the support group, the results of which are exclusively available to members. In this way, young specialists often find their way directly to the member companies.

Previous topics:
- CoolSpray: Development and testing (up to pre-series) of an evaporative cooling system for DG molds
- Ejectorless demolding: Development of a vacuum gripper technology for the removal of DG castings
- Spraying on demand: on-demand spraying of DG tools
- Limits & opportunities of RheoMetal technology: investigation / characterization of the CompTech RheoMetal process

We would like to thank Mr. Enke and his team for the trust they have placed in us. Here's to successful years together!

Good luck!
