Congratulations, Dr.-Ing. Alexander Haban!

Last Monday, our long-standing colleague Alexander Haban completed his dissertation at the Department of Foundry Technology at the University of Kassel with distinction.

In his dissertation entitled "Further development and characterization of pulsed spray cooling for temperature control of permanent moulds", he further developed the cool spray technology and transferred it to variothermal process control. A significant contribution to research in the field of die casting.

A special moment: the traditional ringing of the bell after passing the disputation; the audible sign of successful completion and the beginning of a new chapter.

The congratulations came not only from the examination committee, but also from many companions: former colleagues, graduates and students. Alexander was given a fitting send-off with the ceremonial presentation of his doctoral degree.
