MMS @ Digital Summit of the Federal Government

The Department of Human-Machine Systems Engineering had a stand at the Market of Digital Possibilities as part of the Hessian Future Center for Human-Centered AI in Production Work (ZuKIPro). Estella Landau presented a mobile hand scanner that can convert physical objects or components into digital twins. The digital images created in this way can be used in further steps for simulation, analysis or even for the planning and maintenance of systems. This technology makes it possible to digitize and optimize existing production processes, which is a great advantage, especially for small and medium-sized companies with limited resources.

Together with her colleagues from mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the Kassel-Marburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Ms Landau also provided information at the stand about the consulting and qualification services offered by the Future Center, which are free of charge for Hessian companies. Events for companies are also held in the department's digital laboratory.
