The year 2023 was characterized by many innovations and changes in our specialist area. Here are some highlights that we look back on with pleasure:

* Launch of the realigned department with the new name "Project Management in Digital Transformation" in April

* Inaugural lecture by Prof. Timo Braun in the Gießhaus at the University of Kassel in May

* Over two dozen inaugural visits to internal and external stakeholders of the department

* Establishment of the new course offering with a total of 8 highly interdisciplinary modules in the summer semester

* PMDT team completed, currently with a total of 11 team members

* Joint doctoral colloquium with the RPTU Kaiserslautern in September

* Business & Beer Event for executives in project and innovation management from the Kassel region in October

* Meet PMDT event (informal, pre-Christmas event for students) in December

* Prof. Timo Braun took on the role of scientific advisor on the "PMO Leader Panel" and as the face of the jury for the German Project Management Study Award, presenting the prestigious prize to the winners.

* 5 applications for funding (third-party and internal funds) submitted

* Presented 3 papers at international conferences, made several submissions to scientific journals, successfully launched 2 book chapters.
