We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Conference on Hydrogen in Materials Science and Engineering, H2 MSE 2027, will be held from February 23-25, 2027 in Kassel, Germany and online. Chaired by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wenwen Song, the conference will provide an international platform for exchange on current research issues in the field of hydrogen-related materials science and engineering.

The conference brings together researchers from universities, research institutes and industry to discuss new results on the interactions between hydrogen and materials from an experimental and simulation-based perspective. The official focal points include materials testing under hydrogen, spatially resolved analysis of hydrogen distribution, selective hydrogen analysis, hydrogen permeation, hydrogen-resistant materials, materials for hydrogen storage and direct reduction.

Interested researchers are invited to submit their contributions. According to the official schedule, abstract submission has started in March 2026; the submission deadline is September 23, 2026.
