Dr. Yue Li is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kassel, Institute of Materials Engineering (IfW), in the Research Group "Granularity of Structural Information in Materials Engineering" (GWS). He received his PhD in materials science and materials engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2019. From 2021 to 2025, he was a fellow of the "Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship" and worked at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials. He is currently continuing his research work, which mainly focuses on atomic probe tomography (APT) and the use of machine learning methods for metallic materials.
