DVM Junior Prize for Nico Möller

Experts from science and industry came together at this year's "Fracture-Mechanical Material and Component Assessment" conference organized by the DVM working group on fracture mechanics and component safety to discuss current developments, new methods and applications in the field of fracture and damage mechanics. The event offered a top-class program with specialist presentations, intensive discussions and a wide range of topics.

A particular highlight of the conference was the awarding of the Junior Prize for outstanding scientific presentations by young researchers. First placewent to Nico Möller from the Institute of Materials Engineering at the University of Kassel for a particularly convincing and in-depth presentation, which impressed both with its scientific quality and excellent presentation. The award recognizes the high level of commitment and the great innovative potential of young scientists in the field of fracture mechanics material and component evaluation.
