CampusFest 2026 – Join us for a hands-on activity

At this year's CampusFest on 21 May 2026, our research group on Mechanical Behavior of Materials invites everyone to take part in a hands-on activity: "Snack Science: How tough is your gummy bear?"

What does material toughness actually mean – and what do gummy bears have to do with it? Come to our stand to experiment for yourself and discover how materials science shows up in everyday life.

Find us in the afternoon at the entrance area of the Campus Center. We look forward to seeing you – whether you're a first-semester student, a seasoned researcher, or simply curious!
