Do you enjoy computer and/or board games? Have you ever wanted to design your own game with unique rules and creative ideas? Then the MatWerk GameLab is the perfect project for you! In this course, you’ll have the chance to expand your knowledge about different phenomena and effects in materials science and engineering, and then apply what you’ve learned in a fun, creative way. At the same time, you’ll strengthen your teamwork, problem-solving, and design skills. - What to expect?
In the MatWerk GameLab, you’ll work in small groups to transform exciting aspects of materials science, from effects and processes to material properties and key parameters, into the foundation of a board game. Whether you want to create a classic board game, a card game, or even a digital game – the choice is yours! Your creativity sets the limits.
