Strengthening process orientation

The University of Kassel has established a process model for the participatory further development of its digitization processes, in which process and resonance groups search for optimization potential and define requirements in iterative steps.

Planning and learning together

The heads of the three major digitization projects "Conversion to SAP4HANA," "Introduction of document management system," and "eCampus" jointly form a multi-project management team and ensure coordinated planning and management of the projects as well as an intensive exchange of experience. In these projects, the properly measured use of agile methods is particularly promoted and tested.

Bringing all the threads together

All digital transformation projects are supported and centrally coordinated by the newly established Digital Transformation Office (DTO) . The DTO takes on step-by-step tasks in controlling and strategic management of the project portfolio, networks the individual projects and provides specifications and methods (project management office, PMO).
