As part of the research project "Nature as a legal entity", the workshop entitled "Rights of Nature against whom? Obstacles and problems in the implementation of the rights of nature". The two days of the workshop will begin with a public panel discussion in the Gießhaus followed by a reception. Starting from the philosophical foundations and broader perspectives, through to the conflicts over natural resources and concrete contexts, applications and problems, the aim is to encourage exchange and discussion among the participants.

A pitch session is planned in the program on 18.07.2024 from 17:00 to 18:00. Here you have the opportunity to present the topic of your research in 3 minutes (max. 2 slides), which is related to the workshop topic, in order to enable an exchange and discussions about it during the workshop days. If you are interested in participating in the workshop and/or the pitch session, please write to janina.reimann@uni-kassel.de. Places are limited and it is "first come, first serve".
