Ghida completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University and has a minor in mathematics. During her studies, she worked as a student researcher on an effort to design wearables that detect hypoglycemic tremors in diabetic patients. She is currently working on her master's project with CMP, investigating minerals using density functional theory to understand their stability and suitability, potentially for thermoelectric generators or photovoltaic applications.
