Programming with OpenCL

OpenCL is the first programming language that makes it possible to write a program that works on multi-core CPUs and various accelerator hardware (GPUs, Cell Broadband Engine, ...). In this project the participants get to know the relatively new OpenCL programming language and use it to develop a larger program. Alternatively, existing software (e.g. an open source application) can also be optimized.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of parallel programming and C/C++.

Participants
Students of the Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science from the 5th semester and other interested parties.
