Yes, of course there is such a thing as a home advantage, no question about it. But the advantage-taking was extreme! Posters and documentation accounted for 25% of the overall score. Another assessment: who got a lot of points for this?

No, Theseus wouldn't have made it to the podium! But they didn't deserve this final result!

In contrast, the super team competition at Line (Entry): A Line and a Line Entry team were drawn together. The task: Both start their course in the halved evacuation zone. At the meeting point, the teams have to wait for each other before turning back. The line robot then collects the balls in the evacuation zone and throws them over a ramp into the entry half. The entry robot then collects the balls and pushes them to the evacuation point. If I have observed it correctly, no super team has completed the task. But that's not really important. It's all about international understanding.

Speaking of international understanding: The award ceremony, like the opening ceremony, was again almost entirely in Italian. Not even half of the participants could fit into the room that was provided for this purpose.

"Short" drive to Pescara, only 300km. Arrival at the booked accommodation. It makes a very deserted impression, which is confirmed: We can't spend the night here. Phone call.
