Im Rahmen des SAE 2015 World Congress wurde an Prof. Dr. Ludwig Brabetz sowie an seine Mitarbeiter des Fachgebiets Fahrzeugsysteme und Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik Dr. Mohamed Ayeb und Dipl.-Ing. Tobias Kerner  der "Vincent Bendix Automotive Electronics Engineering Award - SAE International" verliehen.
