After the successful participation in the course Conversion Processes the students are able to:

  • perceive the basics of the different energy forms and conversion technologies
  • assess conversion efficiencies for different forms of energy

  • Principal fuels for energy conversion
  • Conversion to thermal energy / electrical energy / mechanical energy
  • Short introduction into nuclear energy conversion
