Competitive sport

Students and staff at the University of Kassel have the opportunity to compete in sports competitions in addition to the wide range of sporting events on offer. As a rule, these events are organized by the umbrella association adh (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband). These are competitions at national level, e.g. DHM (German University Championships) or at international level, e.g. WUC (World University Championships). General University Sports at the University of Kassel regularly organizes competitions, such as the Christmas Tournament Week or the Uniliga. These events are announced on the Internet and on notice boards at the appropriate time. Information is available on the Internet and from the University Sports Office.

It is also possible for students and staff of the University of Kassel to take part in other events - e.g. the Kassel City Run. Information on this can also be obtained from the University Sports Office.

All events can be found on the adh homepage under the heading"Calendar". All events are available for download there, including the announcement (and sometimes also an entry form).
