Back on campus with "inventions"

Under the motto "Back to Campus", the University of Kassel is celebrating its return to campus after three online semesters - in new formats with sport and music. The next of these "inventions" will take place next Wednesday and Thursday in front of the Central Canteen, both at 12 noon.

"Invention" of general university sports.

At the kick-off event on April 20, 2022, the University of Kassel's percussion ensemble surprised everyone with a drum performance on a discarded transport bus, creating a great atmosphere on the square in front of the central canteen. The following day, members of the university sports team motivated canteen visitors to stretch and stretch out during a "moving" lunch break.

These so-called "inventions" are a joint initiative of the university management, the Institute of Music and General University Sports. They always take place on Wednesdays (music) or Thursdays (sport) at 12 noon in front of the central canteen. Additional dates at other locations are Sports Inventions on May 19 at the School of Art and on June 23 at the AVZ, as well as a Music Invention on May 25 at the School of Art.

The name "Invention" is intended to convey that these are new, surprising formats. So keep your ears and eyes open and be surprised by the following "Inventions" in the 2022 summer semester at the University of Kassel!
