Review of the Stegregatta 2023

Seven boats competed in a total of four races, some of them gaining their first regatta experience. Last year's winning boat in the staff competition was the boat from the Department 15 of Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Polymer Technology.

Since May, staff at the University of Kassel have had the opportunity to learn how to row and train together with colleagues from their department or institute under the guidance of a coach.

At the same time, participants from the rowing courses for beginners and advanced rowers of the university sports department also took part.

Our trainees were responsible for planning the supporting program outside the water, which revolved around the physical well-being of the rowers. After the award ceremony, the summery day ended with a cozy get-together.

Overall, the day was a complete success and we would like to thank everyone involved for making this day possible and for taking part.
