Taster day at the boathouse

On this day, it is possible to try out the wide range of water sports offered by General University Sports or simply to get to know the beautiful ambience of the boathouse on the Auedamm.

You can make your first attempts in a kayak, rowing boat or on a stand-up paddleboard and explore the Fulda. We recommend a change of clothes in case something goes wrong.

The free courses start at 2:15 pm, 3:45 pm, 5:15 pm and 6:45 pm and last 90 minutes each. You can register for the courses in advance via the General University Sports website: https://www.uni-kassel.de/einrichtung/hochschulsport/wassersport/schnuppertag. Remaining places can also be allocated spontaneously on site.

Cold drinks will be served from 15:30 and the barbecue will be heated up, so a great day at the boathouse is guaranteed!
