Transformative teaching and open educational resources (OER)

People master transformation(s) when they learn courageously on uncertain terrain. After an introduction to the concept of education for sustainable development, teaching/learning settings of a few hours or entire modules are developed in the interplay of methods and structural elements of transformative learning, taking digital media into account.

• You want to understand "Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as transformative learning" under the conditions of digital teaching and learning and reflect on the keywords such as "disruption", participation and "collaboration".
• They want to test the possibilities of "generative AI" and "open educational materials" from the perspective of transformation(s) and thus help shape sustainable, equitable and high-quality higher education under the conditions of lifelong learning.

Following an introduction to OER and their significance for transformative educational practice, repositories and platforms for the development of learning paths will be searched for existing concepts and materials, the results will be didactically reflected upon and related to the structural elements of transformative teaching. Methods

The short workshops take place digitally and are characterized by a workshop atmosphere:

• interactive inputs
• discussions
• practice-oriented tandem and group work
• Individual consultation following the workshop on request

Prerequisites for participation: Lecturer at the University of Kassel, participant in the Kassel Graduate Program
