MSCA PF 2026 Online Masterclass - Application and project development

The University of Kassel invites excellent postdoctoral researchers to apply for the MSCA Masterclass 2026, a targeted training and funding program for candidates who wish to submit an application for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (European or Global PF) with Kassel as host institution.

The Global Fellowships program line is particularly interesting for postdoctoral researchers at the University of Kassel who received their doctorate no more than eight years ago and would like to conduct independent research outside Europe for one to two years. In the Global Fellowships program, a 12-month return from the position abroad is mandatory (to bring back what has been learned and research) and a six-month phase for a stay in the non-academic sector can be funded following the project.

The Masterclass is aimed at highly motivated researchers who have found a suitable supervisor at the University of Kassel and are developing a competitive MSCA proposal. Participants will benefit from structured guidance on MSCA proposal development, insights into the evaluation criteria and expert feedback on their project ideas. A limited number of selected candidates will also receive individual application advice ("Individual Clinics").

Participation is subject to a selection process. Applicants must submit a short concept description, a CV with academic history, a self-assessment of MSCA eligibility and a letter of commitment from a supervisor in Kassel.

The MSCA Masterclass provides an excellent opportunity to improve the quality of the proposal, refine aspects of impact and career development, and prepare a competitive proposal in a supportive research environment.
