Welcome to the Homepage of the Clinical Psychology Department

In teaching, we represent Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (e.g. models of mental health and mental disorders, circumstances/causes of mental disorders’ development, intervention and psychotherapy) in the BSc/MSc Psychology program. Moreover, we offer courses on clinical psychological topics to students of other programs of the Human Sciences faculty.

In our research, a broad range of basic research and application oriented topics of the Clinical psychology and Psychotherapy is covered. A primary focus is on the research of the effectiveness of psychotherapy and the involved processes as well as on clinical research on emotion.
