Research Focus
Within the section inclusive education of the department of education, we primarily focus on qualitative, interpretative research. We refer to multi-perspective approaches and different methods to explore possibilities as well as limitations in constructing the research topic. Our research encompasses fundamental research, qualitative evaluation approaches as well as research and development designs, e.g., with regard to inclusive school development in the local context or innovative formats within inclusive teacher education. We emphasize strong connections between teaching and research, for instance, within student teaching projects.
