Preferred dial-in method

Students in social work, the core curriculum in education and social sciences, and psychology who have limited availability may apply for priority course registration.

The request may be submitted for the following reasons:

• chronic illness or disability as defined in Section 2(1) of SGB IX, if this results in time constraints (verified by a medical certificate)
• a child up to 12 years of age requiring care (verified by a copy of the birth certificate)
• pregnancy with an expected delivery date during the lecture period of the semester (verified by a medical confirmation of pregnancy stating the expected delivery date)
• Care of a close relative (verified by a copy of a document pursuant to Sections 44, 44a of SGB XI)

To submit an application, please use only the forms on this website. The application can only be considered if it is submitted on time with the required supporting documents. For data protection reasons, the application and supporting documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope.

Please note that this procedure applies only to courses where enrollment is regulated via priority (PRIOS procedure).

Application deadlines:
For the summer semester: February 10
For the winter semester: September 10

Application deadline for first-semester students:
October 12, 2026, 12:00 p.m. (date of receipt)

You will receive prompt notification via email to your Uniaccount address regarding approval or rejection. If your application is approved, you will be given priority when registering for courses with limited enrollment.
