Every winter semester, you can start your two-semester training as a writing consultant by attending the 'Writing and Writing Consultation' seminar. If you are studying to become a secondary school teacher and one of your subjects is a language subject or if you are completing a Master's degree in German as a foreign and second language, you will also receive credits for this! In the second semester, you can sit in on writing consultations and carry out writing consultations independently. There will be preparatory and accompanying discussions and content-related meetings in the team. After successfully completing a final project, you will receive your official writing consultant certificate!
Team
Our team consists of the student writing consultants, the coordinators and the head of the writing consultancy. We support students in writing, offer help for self-help and accompany the writing process at eye level. Together, we form a dedicated team that is committed to good academic practice and collaborative learning.
Frequently asked questions
The writing consultation is a personal meeting between you and specially trained writing consultants who are students themselves. The consultation lasts around 45 minutes and is aimed at all students in Faculty 02. It offers support with all the challenges that can arise when writing an academic paper.
