Romance Linguistics

The Romance Linguistics department at the University of Kassel focuses its research and teaching on the linguistic and cultural areas of French and Spanish. One focus is the interaction between language and culture. We research the cultural traditions of language use and how people solve communicative tasks and challenges in linguistic interaction.
