(Non-)utilization of employer-financed occupational pensions: Structural-individual constellations in the retail sector

Parallel to the strengthening of the company and private pillars of the pension system in the early 2000s, an exclusively employer-financed company pension was introduced in the retail sector by collective agreement. Take-up by employees is very low. The presentation will discuss the structural and individual factors of (non-)take-up as well as options for action to improve take-up.
