Successful completion of Dr. Philip Julius' doctorate

On 9.12.2020, Dr. Philip Julius successfully completed his dissertation project with the disputation. As part of his doctorate, he worked on the development and testing of a method for assessing the general playing ability of primary school children. As part of the ballstar project(www.ballstars.de), which was initiated in 2015 by the Institute of Sport and Sports Science and the national handball league club MT Melsungen, he developed a new observation sheet to record primary school children's tactical, technical and social-communicative performance. The results of his extensive study show that the method developed to record the general playing ability of primary school children meets the test quality criteria and can therefore be used to test sports game teaching concepts.
