First semester welcome in the winter semester 2021/22 at the IfSS

On Tuesday, 19.10. and Wednesday, 20.10.2021, the new sports students of the class of 2021/22 were welcomed under the special conditions due to the pandemic. In small groups, the students were warmly welcomed in presence for 2 days under the applicable hygiene guidelines by the faculty, the General University Sports and the student council. In addition, students who were unable to attend the face-to-face event were given the opportunity for an introduction via Zoom. 137 first-year students were thus made aware of the advantages of studying sport in Kassel. However, the focus was also placed on the demands placed on new sports students. General University Sports also presented itself as an important institution and provider of numerous and varied sports activities. The student council also prepared the students for their time at university and for a special degree course with a great deal of commitment.

The IfSS and the student council wish the students a good and successful start to their sports studies at the University of Kassel.
