50 years - University of Kassel celebrates!

50 years ago, the University of Kassel began teaching as a comprehensive university during the period of educational reform. Today, the University of Kassel is nationally and internationally established and stands for practical and high-quality teaching and research. This was duly celebrated on Friday at a ceremony in the Campus Center. In addition to high-ranking personalities, politicians and academics from the founding period and today, many guests who feel connected to the university lingered in the Campus Center on Friday. The university's Sports Institute was also able to participate: 4 students from the institute provided an appealing, rousing and "corona-compliant" performance, which helped to lighten the mood and bring joy to the guests during the get-together after the ceremony. The dancers Kora Haupt, Nina Heiduck, Tom Zimmermann and Tim Gade received much praise and recognition. The Institute would like to thank them for their great commitment, joy of movement and professionalism!
