Successful completion of Dr. Julia Limmeroth's doctorate

On 13.06.2022, Dr. Julia Limmeroth successfully completed her dissertation project with the disputation. As part of her cumulative doctorate, entitled "Automatic affective processes toward different types of exercise and physical activity in adults and children", she dealt with the (automatic) affective reactions during sporting activity. Using three empirical studies, she was able to show that subconscious affective processes in particular can make a significant contribution to explaining actual physical activity. She presented these three studies, which have already been published in the leading sport psychology journals, to the four-member examination committee in her disputation. Following her presentation, she had to defend her work in a scientific discussion with the members of this committee. Julia Limmeroth also mastered this task with flying colors!
