Welcome to the IfSS!

After the Managing Director, Prof. Dr. Volker Scheid, gave a welcome address to everyone, the entire staff, the General University Sports Department and the student council introduced themselves. Afterwards, the team from the "Streck-DICH" health project from General University Sports presented themselves and carried out a 5-minute exercise break from their program with everyone present. With renewed energy, the 140 first-year students were informed about the advantages of studying sport in Kassel. In addition to the requirements for new sports students, further information was also provided, such as online enrolment and timetabling. At the end of the event, the first-semester students were presented with great welcome gifts from the University Sports Department.

The IfSS and the student council wish the students a good and successful start to their sports studies at the University of Kassel.
